The Finale!

Dear First Graders,

I can't believe it is over. You were a truly remarkable group of kiddos and we had so much fun together.  I was able to capture some of our moments here at the link below...

We had a nice writing celebration grouped with our future second grade class. We also celebrated one of our friend's birthdays!

Jamming in June!

Dear First Graders

We have had a blast these past few weeks.  From field day, to discovering about sinking/floating, to creating the best foil boat, being part of Mrs. Neufeld's publishing party... I have really enjoyed these past few weeks!

Friday Letters

Dear First Graders,

I am so proud of how your Friday Letters came out once we compiled all of them into a nice book. It was amazing to look through, remember all the fun times we have had, and see you grow as a writer! Find a safe place to keep these!

We also started this week out with a birthday and our LAST mystery reader! WOW!!!

I have some catching up to do with field day and our sink/float activity! Keep on the look out!

Field Trip!!

Dear First Graders,

We had a fun time at our field trip. It was great to review everything we have learned about life cycles. It was awesome to be able to walk around the museum and work as a team to build!

June!

Dear First Graders,

I don't even know where to begin, we have been having so much fun!
We kicked off June with a friends birthday!

Another friend brought in a really awesome snake skin! We all got to observe and feel the skin. Super neat.

We also finished up our small moment unit and had a mini writing celebration with Mrs. Neufeld's third grade class. It was crazy how many siblings are in our two rooms! We sure did impress them with our covers that we created in the computer lab as well as our stories.
