The Final Days...

Dear First Graders,

I continue to be in disbelief that the end is here! We are definitely leaving on a high note.

We celebrated a friend's birthday!

Had game day! Mr. D even joined us for a little Twister. 

We even met our next year's teacher.  Here is my incoming class!

Boy did we have fun at field day today!  A huge thanks to the parents that helped and Miss Sabourin who organizes all the festivities.

One Friday Down.... 2 to go! what?!?!

Dear First Graders,

We ended a fantastic week on a high note with a friends birthday!

We have been loving the ABC countdown. If you are not following Mr. D on twitter, you should be. Our first grade made a video debut on M (music) day, dancing with Mr. D in the lunchroom. Find him  @RosendaleES  Monday is O for outrageous outfit!!

I saw so many of you at the Ice Cream Social!  It got crowded fast and I learned the hard way that next year Mr. Jefts needs to come to keep an eye on my girls so I can spend some more time chatting with all of you.  It looked like everyone enjoyed some yummy ice-cream and a great time.

Hazel wouldn't even look up for a picture, that is how much she was enjoying the ice cream!

Mystery Readers

Dear First Graders,

     I can't believe it is June!!  On Friday, we enjoyed having Mrs. Winkler as our Mystery Reader! We then started the week with another mystery reader on Tuesday!  They both shared great books with us.

   In music, Mrs. Johnston has done it again!  She adapted another song to go along with our chick unit.  Here we are being cute... Chick Song
